Language Technology Industry Summit 2017

DigitalMR is happy to have participated in a LT-Innovate event once again. “The LT Industry Summit is the yearly point of convergence between the Language Technology Industry, its clients, research partners and policy makers”.

@DigitalMR_CEO Michalis Michael presented ‘How Image and Audio Processing will Redefine Text Analytics’ on the afternoon of Day 2 of the event. Michalis described (among other things) the challenges of training multi layer neural networks (deep learning) to detect the occasion of product usage within an image (theme detection), with the ultimate goal of enhancing existing text analytics capabilities.

The LT Industry Summit took place at The International Auditorium in Brussels, between October 9-11 inclusive.
